Appearance: Head: Powerful, long, and wedge
shaped. Eyes: Almond shaped, deep set, and
dark in color. Ears: Usually cropped and
carried erect, may be uncropped (held
naturally). Muzzle: Medium and tapering to a
point. Nose: Black and self-colored
according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level.
Neck: Well arched and muscular. Top-line:
Level. Chest: Broad, with fore-chest well
defined. Body: Back is short, firm and
muscular, with slightly arched loins. Legs:
Forelegs are straight and muscular. Hind
legs are broad and powerful, with stifles
well bent. Feet: Short, and compact. Tail:
Docked. Movement: Strong and driving, yet
very agile. Temperament: Protective and
aloof with strangers.
